Meet the Artist

Angel Ortega, owner of Garzig Design, is a graphic designer + illustrator living in Austin, Texas. Angel’s art is heavily influenced by metal music and her love of redesigning pop culture with a metal edge.  All of Angel’s work starts with a pencil sketch that she fine-tunes using digital software. The floral artwork included in this year's Toast theme was hand-drawn and then worked with inside Adobe Illustrator, bringing a fun, vibrant tone to Toast of the Town 2025.
